Q: Will you sell your products to me outside the Southwest United States?
A: If you are a contractor or a distributor and would like to buy our products, we will sell any amount of product to you anywhere in the world, provided that you arrange and pay for all freight costs.
Q: Can I use your products for interior use, vertical surfaces, garages, driveways, or countertop surfaces?
A: Generally, yes. Preferred Deck Systems products are extremely versatile can be used in almost any application. Please call us at 602.440.3325 for information about your specifics.  For instance, you will want to use a sealer with garages and driveways and stay off of the surface for an extended period of time, depending on the weather conditions. It may be necessary to not park in the driveway for several weeks.
Q: How much product do I need to cover a specific job?
A: Please see the coverages chart below. This is a general guideline and will vary depending on the application, the surface, equipment, temperature, and number of coats used.

Q:  Can I use Preferred Deck Systems products over an existing deck surface?
A:  Generally, yes. However, please call us at 602.440.3325 for detailed information about your specific job.
Q:  Can I put your product on brand new concrete?
A: Generally, yes. However, you need to allow enough time for the concrete to cure, so that problems such as delamination and efflorescence do not occur. In the cold months, it may be necessary to wait several weeks. Please call us at 602.440.3325 with your specific application details.
Q: I have had problems with other decking products delaminating, breaking down in water, or causing efflorescence. Are there similar problems with Preferred Deck Systems products?
A: Generally, no. We use the highly quality 100% acrylic resins available. Some lesser quality products use a PVA and SBR base and can have these types of problems. Some problems can be avoided in the application process. Please call us at 602.440.3325 with your specific concerns. In the case of efflorescence, we add a specially formulated chemical to our aggregate to decrease the occurrence of this problem. If you have encountered this problem in the past, please call us to get more details on specific application instructions that can also help.
Q: I am a contractor and do not know how to achieve a specific texture. Where do I get this information?
A: We are here to help you with your specific needs. We are just a phone call away (602.440.3325.) We can instruct you how to get the texture you desire, whether its a lace, flagstone, saltillo, granite, or brick texture
Q: For stone-like applications, such as flagstone and monolithic stone, is the texture coat troweled or stamped with forms?


A:
Texture coat for these applications can be both troweled or stamped, whichever is preferred.
